StartWithEth is growing like a garden, with each milestone planting a seed for Ethereum’s accessibility. From our 2024 launch to our vision of onboarding 20,000 newcomers by 2028, this timeline highlights our progress and plans. With Ethereum support, we’ll nurture a thriving hub for decentralized learning.
July 2024: Project Inception
StartWithEth took root in July 2024 with a mission to make Ethereum accessible. We formed our founding team and curated a glossary of 140+ A-H terms like “Address” and “Gas,” listed without descriptions to kickstart our open-source platform.
October 2024: Prototype Launch
Launched our prototype at startwitheth.org, showcasing A-H glossary terms in a clean, user-friendly interface. The prototype reached 20 early users, whose feedback shaped our design and set the foundation for growth.
November 2024: Tools & dApps Section
Added a Tools & dApps section to the prototype, introducing resources for exploring Ethereum’s ecosystem. This feature attracted interested 10 users, reinforcing our focus on practical tools for beginners.
January 2025: Website Launch
Launched the full StartWithEth website with Home, Glossary, Tools & dApps, Events, and About pages. Built with Elementor.
February 2025: Team Expansion
Welcomed app developers, a full-stack engineer, a content researcher, and a community manager to our team. This expansion enabled us to scale content and plan for mobile and dApp development.
April 2025: First Learn Page Content
Published “What is Ethereum? A Beginner’s Guide” on our Learn page, our first educational content. It got 5 readers, validating our focus on clear, beginner-friendly resources.
July 2025: Full-Stack Project Kickoff (Planned)
We aim to begin development of our full-stack project, including a mobile app, enhanced web platform, and new Tools content. Grant funding will support hiring additional developers, targeting 5,000 users by Q4 2025.
August 2025: Marketing Campaign Launch (Planned)
We plan to launch marketing content to promote StartWithEth globally, targeting underserved regions. Social media and blog campaigns are projected to reach 10,000 potential users, with grant funds covering outreach efforts.
December 2025: Mobile App Beta (Planned)
We aim to release a beta mobile app with offline glossary access and event notifications, targeting 5,000 users in underserved areas. Grant funding will ensure accessibility and localization, expanding our reach.
Q2 2026: Educational dApp Beta (Planned)
We plan to launch a beta educational dApp, enabling 7,500 users to interact with mock smart contracts. Tutorials on DeFi and NFTs, funded by the grant, will drive hands-on learning and ecosystem growth.
Looking ahead, we aim to host global workshops in Q1 2027, engaging 10,000 participants across five continents with localized content, and by 2028, educate 20,000 Ethereum newcomers. With your support, we’ll grow this garden into a vibrant hub for decentralized learning.
